Can N95 masks be exported from India?

N95 masks:

These respirators are comfortable to use because its manufacturers have made it with a soft material that can’t cause any kind of irritation on human skin if someone uses it.

Approval of N95 by NIOSH, FDA, CDC:

There are many public health care administrations that are working to assure the safety of the public by analyzing product quality and its usage in different areas of the country. They have to check different medical products that are used in many healthcare centers and medical institutes and these products include many surgical types of equipment and also face masks including g N95 as the most demanded personal protective equipment.

As its demand is increasing day by day, it has created a stress on its manufacturing companies to increase the supply of N95 masks throughout the world. There are some of the top rated companies that are working on their production to increase supply of N95 masks. These companies include Kimberly-Clark corporation, BD, Honeywell, Teleflex, Prestige Ameritech, Ambu.

Export of N95 masks from India:

According to the World Trade Organization (WTO) India has limited the supply of N95 masks, few months before, to maintain the supply of these respirators at national level. But no India is going to remove this limitation of export because they have realized that this decision of limiting export of N95 respirators is not a good option for anyone. Because in this way it’s making an impact on the country’s economy, and the people who need it frequently are not getting enough supply in this pandemic.

 So, India has decided to get rid of this limitation on export and in a few months it‘ll be completely declared that India is ready to supply N95 masks to other countries that need it’ll be possible for any country  to export N95 masks from India. For this purpose, India is trying to increase its rate of N95 mask production per day.

Countries limiting export of N95 masks:

As the rate of demand of N95 masks has increased 10 times as compared to the demand before the pandemic. It has become a hard task for many countries to manage the supply of N95 masks at national level so World Trade Organization (WTO) has decided to limit the export of N95 masks across the countries, so that it could be possible to maintain the supply of these respirators at national level and people can get the enough N95 mask that can meet the needs in this pandemic.

The World Trade Organization has declared that 80 countries have limited the supply of N95 masks to maintain its supply on national level. Because some of these countries are running short of masks and they have to improve their production of N95 masks at maximum level so that they can meet the needs of the day.

Because of its high demand all over the world, many countries have decided to limit export of N95 masks at national level.
