Since the pandemic broke out, there have been various sport events that have been canceled as a result of the novel coronavirus. Those sports events have been expected to happen at a specific place in January 2021. The risk of contracting the novel coronavirus increases when the wearer heavily inhales or exhales air; this is because when the wearer runs, this increases the chances of the wearer contracting hazardous diseases like the novel coronavirus. Therefore, sports events have been shifted to a later date to deal with the novel coronavirus and avoid its fatal spread.

Similar to the above situation, when a person works out while wearing surgical masks, they inhale and exhale heavily; this is because an individual runs or lifts heavyweights while running or working out. All of this forces the heart of an individual to pump even more; this forces an individual to breathe harder and faster. In this way, the individual heavily inhales and exhales, and this could be a reason for the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Since the wearer has had a surgical mask on his face, the surgical mask prevents the wearer from inhaling the required amount of air while working out; this creates various problems for the wearer. The wearer faces breathing problems while working out with a surgical mask. When an individual heavily exhales while wearing the respirator, they cannot inhale properly because of surgical masks. The wearer could die if they work out consecutively without removing the respirator; this is because surgical masks make it hard for the wearer to breathe.
In addition to that, it irritates the face of the user as well; this means that the wearer’s face gets filled with sweat as a result of the heat produced between the surgical mask and facial portions of the face. When a person runs while wearing the surgical mask, they produce a lot of sweat as a result of fast heartbeats; this produces a lot of sweat on the face of the individual. Furthermore, this is what irritates the face of the user. Therefore, this is why it has not been urged to use surgical masks while working out.
Since the wearer cannot inhale the required amount of air, the surgical mask makes it hard for the wearer to breathe. Hence, wearing N95 respirators while working out is detrimental to the health of an individual, and it could cause irritation and several health problems as well. However, some respirators have a valve. During the novel coronavirus, the healthcare authorities had recommended the use of surgical masks or respirators without valves to deal with the novel coronavirus.
However, there are some surgical masks and respirators that come with valves. Valves in respirators make it easy for an individual to breathe. If an individual wears surgical masks while working out, they must use surgical masks with valves since they do not make it hard for an individual to breathe. Moreover, the usage of surgical masks or respirators with valves do not irritate the face of the user as well. Hence, an individual should wear surgical masks or respirators with valves to work out without facing any breathing issues and sweat problems.
